Lower East Side…
We just got back from NYC and one of my favorite stays was the Ludlow. I’ve been eyeing this hotel for awhile as I’ve been to their uber edgy restaurant Dirty French. Btw, get the Belmondo drink — tequila, pear, ginger and lemon juice.
The Ludlow is all the best of the Lower East Side — gritty but trendy, vintage but fresh. Large windows make it feel open and bright and the brick walls make it feel historic.
The lobby and bar area is roomy with an eclectic mix of sitting areas and a fireplace. Perfect for pups — especially the outdoor terrace area. I honestly spent the most time in my room — it was so cozy and sweet (and I was exhausted). 24 hr fitness room, free wi-fi, $25/night for pets. Pink dog bowl, treats + poo bags provided!
Dog-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating within walking distance: Souvlaki GR (awesome greek food), Serafina (italian), Cafe Medi (mediterranean).
Rates start at $350.
