Luxury in Pasadena… The Langham Hotel
Need a dog-friendly hotel in Pasadena? Look no further.
The Langham Hotel is the only luxury hotel in Pasadena and you will definitely feel the grandeur the moment you pull up to the property. During my stay, I found myself surprised at how big and grand this hotel really is!
The hotel features palatial ballrooms and lush gardens, all housed in a beautiful, historic building that has been restored and renovated to offer modern amenities and facilities. Set on 23 acres, the hotel offers 379 rooms including 36 specialty suites and 8 private cottages situated in garden settings — a true, full-service 5 star hotel!

The Langham is also full of dazzling history. The first Langham was built in 1865 in London and soon, the hotel became a popular choice for Victorian high society, royalty, artists and musicians from around the world. Other locations include the Langham Boston, Fifth Avenue (NYC), Chicago, Auckland + Melbourne.
Langham Hotel Doggie Program
Doggie program ($135) provides a plush pink dog bed, bowls and a Doggie Newsletter! Dogs of all sizes welcome.
The Japanese Gardens on the property is a perfect stroll with your pup. Lush, greenery with an adorable little red bridge over a small stream. Fira loved peeking her head over to look for fish and even spotted some squirrels.
If you’re looking to dine with your pup, try Terrace Cafe or The Hideaway (both next to the heated pool). For a drink, there is luxe bar called the Tap Room.

The guest rooms and suites at the Langham are elegant and comfortable, with flat-screen TVs and marble bathrooms. You can also book a private cottage with a patio and mountain views — perfect for your pup(s), right?
Since the Langham is located in an upscale neighborhood, why not take a walk around outside the hotel to view the beautiful historic homes? Many of the homes in the area were built in 1910 – 1940, so you’ll find houses with tons of charm and character (and considerably large!).
