There’s a new Miami…
The EDITION hotel almost feels like you’ve been transported to 1950’s mid-century glam the minute you walk in. With its exotic flora, slick marble floors + tabletops and splashes of disco-gold, it’s a fabulously designed space.
Officially opened less than three years ago, this collaboration with Marriot and hotelier Ian Schrager is just gorgeous. When you walk in, the lobby is essentially white and filled with opulent white sofas and leafy palm trees — Fira fit right in.

This hotel is definitely my living mood board for my decor inspo. Minimal, lots of airy white, light wood, lush green tropical flora and marble + gold accents.
We were graciously upgraded to a one-bedroom suite… and I never wanted to leave. The living room and bedroom both had balconies with sliding glass doors opening up to a beachfront view, sheer white curtains billowing away. Schrager calls them “barefoot chic.”
When you eventually do leave the room, there is plenty of space to explore with your pooch — 3.5 acres, to be exact.
Fira loved running down the hallways and her favorite part was the private beach! Just walk down the steps to the pool then down the path and it leads you right to the shore.
Surrounding the two pools is a grassy area to lay out or play cornhole and even a private sandy area.

By the way…
Don’t forget to check out the basement for the nightclub, ice-skating rink and bowling alley. 🙂
Rooms start at $529. $150 for one pet up to 25 lbs, per stay.
