Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, Amangiri doesn’t just top the list–it surpasses it. It is a truly breathtaking masterpiece.
Set on 600 acres in Southern Utah, the architecture is built into the massive landscape with a 60-foot heated pool practically carved around the rocks. With only 34 suites, you get personalized service and also zen-like serenity, like you’re in another world.
When we were driving in, our cell phones dropped out of service, we were buzzed in then welcomed by a group of staff. Definitely felt like we were on Mars! It is really in the middle of nowhere—perfect seclusion.
Every suite has french doors that open up to a beautiful sitting area with a fireplace facing the outdoors, so the pups can easily go outside. Weston loved sitting and looking out–maybe he was meditating?
Amangiri rooms…
The rooms are eerily peaceful. Every room feels like it’s own dwelling because of the soundproof stone walls and the gorgeous silence of its Utah location. Fling open the french doors and it’s like you’re sitting in front of a painting.
The decor is my DREAM. Light stone-washed walls with light wood accents–very very minimal accents. Everything is done with such finesse and I wouldn’t expect anything less from an Aman hotel. Crisp, white bed and all-natural textures make you want to stay in bed all day! This is a hotel I will gladly go back to Utah for. 🙂

Rooms start at $1800. $100 per pet up to 50 lbs, per night. 1 Kayenta Rd, Canyon Point UT 84741.
