The Alise is a 93-room boutique hotel a short walk from Union Square. Alise is part of a group of Stay Pineapple hotels located around the country with various locations in Seattle, Portland, San Diego and Chicago.
If you want to learn all about the branding experience, Stay Pineapple does exactly that with its hotels. The design is bright, yellow and cheery—free yellow bike rentals and pineapple-infused water + mini cupcakes during happy hour—even for the pups! Dogs are welcomed with yellow branded food bowls, treats and of course yellow poo bags + dispenser (which are yours to take home). $25 per day; two dogs maximum, no weight restriction.
Although the amenities are lacking (no fitness room), the rooms are updated and feel uber modern. The comforters on the beds are INSANE. They’re “european style” duvet covers. Two individual twin-size blankets–one on the right side and one on the left side so you don’t have to share and fight over a blanket. Sooooo soft and fluffy.
Rooms are affordable and start at $150.
