San Ysidro Ranch has always been on my list of places to stay and they certainly lived up to the hype.

It is rustic, romantic and feels like a dignified hideaway full of olive trees and fragrant lavender. It is also one of the most dog-friendly hotels we’ve ever visited.
We walked into our room and inside was a plush doggie bed, bowl, treats, and Evian water just for Weston. OH and a homemade doggie biscuit with his name spelled out in peanut butter and custom postcards with his photo printed on it. What is this dog’s life?
A few days here and you feel reset — exploring the 500 acres, the gorgeous pool and the individual cottages (ours had an outdoor jacuzzi and balcony!), I never wanted to go back home.
